Our highly trained employees are our most important capital. We know what responsibilities we have toward our employees. Social Security

German employees enjoy a very high level of social security when compared to other countries. This, of course, also applies to the Heinen employees who produce our terracare® brand. All employees, their partners and children have health insurance. Each one of our employees pays into a pension plan, has accident, unemployment and long-term care insurance.
This high level of social security costs money. However, in our opinion, there is no alternative. It is not ethically justifiable to have a society where only the better off can afford to go to a doctor. It is not ethically justifiable to have a society where an accident or old age mean poverty.
